WCIT Goes to Washington (DC)

Just like a month ago – when WCIT toured Eastern WA to meet with trade-related stakeholders – WCIT is “on the road again” (as someone once sang). We’ll be meeting with members of the Washington Congressional delegation, the DC offices of Washington state companies and staff from national trade associations that have a role in advocating for trade policies that WCIT shares.

And, once again, you can follow all the action on Twitter through our @WashingtonTrade account. Check out all the exciting discussion and interesting insights, marked with the hashtag #WCITinDC.

Of course, our trip won’t be all work. Feel free to come and join us on Tuesday, September 20 at 8 pm at the Union Pub as we try and win the crown as DC Quizzo champion! The WCIT team already includes representatives from the Port of Tacoma, Boeing and the Office of Senator Cantwell, so you know that we’ll represent the state well…
