JUST ANNOUNCED: Canadian Trade Minister to Speak at Washington Trade Conference

For the few of you who have yet to register for the Washington Trade Conference on November 21 – after I gave you five great reasons and announced one of our exciting panel discussions – here’s even more reason to REGISTER NOW: we’re pleased to announce that Jon Allen, Assistant Deputy Minister for the Americas at the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade in Canada, will be speaking at our event!

Mr. Allen is responsible for Canada’s political and economic relations with North America, Latin America and the Caribbean. A long-serving Canadian diplomat, Mr. Allen was appointed as Canada’s Ambassador to Israel (2006-2010) and as Minister (Political Affairs) at the Canadian Embassy in Washington (2004-2006). He also has been posted to Mexico and India. This is a fantastic opportunity to understand the barriers and opportunities to increased trade with one of Washington’s top trading partners!

Great speakers, great panels and networking with hundreds of our state’s businesses – what more could you ask for? So, REGISTER NOW for the Washington Trade Conference. Looking forward to seeing you on November 21!
