“International Companies Employing Washington Workers”

Location: Governor’s Mansion, Olympia, WA
Registration: Admission to the reception is $35. Register online here.

As we all know, Washington state is tied to the international economy like no other. Whether it is the goods flowing through our ports, international customers who buy our planes, software and apples, international students studying in our schools, tourists at our hotels, theaters and museums or the rich international cultures that infuse our state, Washington is international. In a time of constrained resources, the international organizations of Washington state continue to work together for the benefit of our community as a whole.

On behalf of the members of many of Washington state’s international organizations, we invite you to come celebrate International Washington with Governor Chris Gregoire and State Legislators. This year we especially note the contribution of international firms with operations here in Washington state. Such companies employ an estimated 90,000 people in our state. Gregoire has opened up the Mansion for this special event and will be giving brief remarks.

Light appetizers and beverages will be provided.
