WCIT Members Only Conference Call: USMCA

Since the Trump Administration announced its plans to renegotiate NAFTA – a trade agreement that has benefited Washington businesses for over 20 years – local businesses have wondered how they will be impacted. With 330,000 local jobs tied to trade with Canada and Mexico, November 30th’s USMCA signing is a critical move that will impact people all over Washington from dairy farmers to software engineers to retailers.

Kris Denzel is a senior director for International Policy at the U.S. Chamber and is responsible for promoting their international trade and investment agenda, including bilateral and multilateral trade agreements and negotiations, before the administration and Congress.

Previously, Denzel was the Director of Government Affairs at the Organization for International Investment (OFII) and spent more than seven years working on Capitol Hill for Reps. Robert Dold (R-IL) and George Holding (R-NC).
